Description
This device is an industrial media converter with one Gigabit Ethernet port and one SFP port (100BASE/1000BASE), designed to connect decentralized Ethernet devices to a network via fiber optics. The user can freely select the required SFP module and communicate over a distance of up to 80 km. The ETHERNET port (IEEE 802.3at) can be used simultaneously to power PoE end devices (powered devices). (SFP modules are available optionally.) Its compact design with a DIN-rail adapter simplifies installation in control cabinets or enclosures, offering high resistance to temperature, vibration, and shock. The unit enables plug-and-play operation with connected ETHERNET devices that use the same transmission speed.
