Description
Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI with strain reliefThe WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly 5-pole is the pluggable solution for your application in control cabinets, for lighting connections or on PCBs. Whether on PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to establish connections according to a huge variety of requirements in no time flat. The color coding and mechanical coding of the pluggable installation connector ensure error-free installation of the individual components – including protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). That results in the fact that users’ fingers will never come into contact with energised contact elements. Regulated lighting equipment, as implemented with the DALI standard, for example, is the main application of WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors with I coding. The rated current and voltage are important criteria for selecting a pluggable installation connector: They tell us about the product’s domains of use. This product has a current rating of 20 A – so it is also suitable for high power loads. Our WINSTA® MIDI product line offers flexibility for the installation. With its Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology, it ensures error-free, time-saving installation and offers customization for meeting various installation requirements. According to the European CPR, the fire class of the cables used for construction is critical for building safety, too. For buildings with safety requirements, cable assemblies with fire class D are suitable. Eliminating halogens as an additive in the manufacture of this cable assembly noticeably increases fire safety and minimises environmental contamination.Pluggable connections instead of screw connections – cable assemblies from WAGOThe cable assembly is equipped with a socket and a plug. The WINSTA® Pluggable Connection System is perfectly tailored to the very strict requirements of building installation. It makes electrical installation pluggable, and therefore faster, even more reliable, and error-free. Use of this pre-assembled system reduces assembly times and errors during installation at the construction site. Choose durability and quality – with strain relief hosting from WAGO makes the electrical installation of electrical components noticeably easier. protection against mismating eliminates errorssimple circuitswith I coding for use in building automation (lighting control)ready to install and use immediatelyconvenient installation and commissioning
