Cable assembly WINSTA® KNX with protection type IP20The WINSTA® KNX cable assembly rated current 3 A provides the foundation for assembly of solid and fine-stranded conductors. WAGO pluggable installation connectors can be used when criteria repeat or are distributed on a specified pattern, for example for installing grid lighting or flush-mount lighting. The coding options reduce installation errors, allowing fast, maintenance-free wiring of all components. The pluggable installation connector offers protection against contact with live components in accordance with protection type IP20 (Only when mated and secured with a strain relief housing (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas.)). The harmonised KNX interface represents a manufacturer-independent communication protocol for intelligently networking state-of-the-art home and building system technologies. A WINSTA® KNX pluggable installation connector with E coding, like all coded pluggable installation connectors, allows blind mating. Components with E coding are primarily used for supplying auxiliary power, for example to I/O devices. Anyone who needs to worry about technical safety requirements for fire protection reasons for electrical installation should use only top quality components. Our product meets the official safety standards of fire class C. In the manufacturing of this cable assembly, we eliminated the use of halogen.
