Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI with protection against mismatingThe WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly 5-pole supports rapid, correct installation. Whether on PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to establish connections according to a huge variety of requirements in next to no time. For greater security in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is provided with mechanical protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). This means that users’ fingers will never come into contact with electrified contact elements. Regulated lighting, as implemented with the DALI standard, for example, is the primary domain of use of WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors with I coding. Our WINSTA® MIDI product line allows flexibility for the installation of applications. Through its Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology, it ensures error-free, time-saving installation and offers customization for meeting all installation requirements. This product meets all the mandatory safety requirements of fire class E; therefore it can be used in areas where fire safety is relevant. The cable assembly is halogen-free. This eliminates the addition of environmental pollutants during production. It also achieves a higher fire class, since halogen-free materials do not easily ignite.Pluggable connections instead of screw connections – cable assemblies from WAGOThe cable is pre-assembled with a plug and a free end. The WINSTA® Pluggable Connection System is ideally tailored to the strict requirements of building installation.
