Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI with protection against mismatingThe WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly rated current 16 A allows installation of fine-stranded and solid conductors. On PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to make connections according to a huge variety of requirements in next to no time. The coding options reduce installation errors, allowing fast, maintenance-free wiring of all components. The pluggable installation connector is protected against ingress by solid objects in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). UPS applications for IT technology almost always use the red WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors with P coding. The WINSTA® MIDI Pluggable Connection System with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology facilitates precise electrification. Thanks to the included test slot, connections can be checked even when they are plugged in. That saves time and reduces installation labor and costs. This product meets all the mandatory fire protection requirements of fire class E; therefore it can be used in domains where fire safety is relevant. Eliminating halogens as an additive in the production of this cable assembly noticeably improves fire safety and minimises environmental contamination.Pluggable connections instead of screw connections – cable assemblies from WAGOA socket and a plug are provided. The WINSTA® Pluggable Connection System is perfectly tailored to the very strict requirements of building installation. It makes electrical installation pluggable, and consequently faster, more reliable, and error-free. Using this pre-assembled system reduces assembly times and installation errors at the construction site.
