Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI with protection against mismatingThe WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly with protection type IP20 is the pluggable solution for your use in control cabinets, for lighting connections or on PCBs. Whether on PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to establish connections according to a huge variety of requirements in seconds. For greater protection in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is provided with mechanical protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector offers touch-proof protection with live components in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). I coding in blue is used to label WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors, which are used primarily in building automation for controlling lighting. The rated current and voltage are important criteria for selecting a pluggable installation connector: They tell us about the product’s domains of use. This product has a current rating of 20 A – so it is also suitable for powerful loads. The WINSTA® MIDI product line offers total flexibility for the installation of applications. With its Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology, it guarantees time-saving, error-free installation and offers customization and flexibility for meeting all installation requirements. Compliance with fire protection regulations is an crucial issue for building installation. Especially in sensitive areas, the fire class must meet legal requirements. This product complies with the requirements of fire class C. In the production of this cable assembly, we eliminated the use of halogen. That is an important contribution to climate protection.Pluggable connections instead of screw connections – cable assemblies from WAGOA plug and a free end are provided. WINSTA® is the pluggable connection system that is optimally tailored to the strict requirements of electrical installation. It allows error-free installation of cables and components, quickly and reliably.
