Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI I codingFor signal and power transmission: The WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly 5-pole. The pluggable installation connectors with spring pressure connection technology function without screw connections. They allow flexible, error-free installation in numerous possible uses. For greater protection in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is equipped with mechanical protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector offers protection against contact with live components in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). Controlled lighting, as used in the DALI standard, for instance, is the primary domain of use of WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors with I coding. Important parameters in the selection of a pluggable installation connector are the rated current and voltage: They provide information about possible domains of use and applications. This product has a current rating of 20 A – therefore it is also suitable for powerful loads. The WINSTA® MIDI Pluggable Connection System with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology facilitates exemplary electrification. Thanks to the integrated test slot, connections can be checked even when they are plugged in. That saves time and reduces installation labor and expense. This product meets all the fire protection requirements of fire class D; therefore it can be used in domains where fire safety is relevant. The cable assembly is halogen-free. This eliminates the addition of environmental pollutants during production. It also increases the fire class, since halogen-free materials are flame-resistant.Fast, error-free assembly thanks to cable assemblies from WAGOThe cable is pre-assembled with a plug and a free end.
