Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI with protection type IP20Use effective pluggable connections instead of laborious screw connections: With the WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly 5-pole. Our pluggable installation connectors with spring pressure connection technology function without screw connections. They allow flexible, error-free installation in a large number of possible uses. The color coding and mechanical coding of the pluggable installation connector ensure error-free installation of the individual components – including protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector offers protection against contact with live components in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). Controlled lighting, as used with the DALI standard, for example, is the main use of WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors with I coding. Important parameters in the selection of a pluggable installation connector are the rated current and voltage: They tell us about the product’s domains of use. This product has a current rating of 20 A – as a result it is suitable for robust loads. The WINSTA® MIDI Pluggable Connection System with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology facilitates precise electrification. Thanks to the built-in test slot, connections can be checked even when they are plugged in. That saves time and reduces installation labor and costs. Of course, the safety of buildings must always be ensured, even after the electrical installation has been performed. The safety requirements in connection with EU CPR are fully satisfied by this product through fire class D. In the manufacturing of this cable assembly, we eliminated the use of halogen.
