Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI with protection type IP20The WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly with protection type IP20 supports fast, reliable installation. The pluggable installation connectors with spring pressure connection technology work completely without screw connections. They allow flexible, error-free installation in numerous applications. For greater protection in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is equipped with mechanical protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). This means that users’ fingers will never come into contact with electrified contact elements. WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors with I coding in blue are especially suitable for easy lighting installation, for instance for the dimming function of DALI lights. The rated current and voltage are important criteria for selecting a pluggable installation connector: They provide information about possible domains of use and applications. This product has a current rating of 20 A – so it is also suitable for powerful loads. The WINSTA® MIDI Pluggable Connection System with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology facilitates safe electrification. Due to the included test slot, connections can be checked even when they are plugged in. This saves time, labor, and money. Compliance with fire protection regulations is an crucial issue for building installation. Especially in sensitive areas, the fire class must meet or even exceed legal requirements. This product complies with the requirements of fire class C. The cable assembly is halogen-free. This eliminates the addition of environmental pollutants during production.
