Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI with protection against mismatingThe WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly S coding supports fast, reliable installation. WAGO pluggable installation connectors are useful when specifications repeat or are distributed on a specific pattern, for example for installing grid lighting or flush-mount lighting. The mechanical coding and color coding of the pluggable installation connector ensure error-free installation of the individual components – including protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). This means that users’ fingers will never come into contact with electrified elements. The S coding in brown marks pluggable installation connectors of the WINSTA® MIDI product line, which are made for installation in AC applications. The WINSTA® MIDI Pluggable Connection System with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology facilitates safe electrification. Thanks to the included test slot, it is possible to check connections even when they are plugged in. That saves time and reduces installation labor and expense. If you need to satisfy stricter safety standards, you should use cables with fire class B2. These are suitable for use in buildings with very high demands on safety. The cable assembly is free of halogen. This eliminates the addition of environmental pollutants during production. The WINSTA® Pluggable Connection System is perfectly tailored to the strict requirements of building installation.
