Description
The 753-1646 KNX TP Secure Interface I/O module provides connectivity to a KNX/EIB/TP1 network. The module is compatible with the 753-646 KNX/EIB/TP Interface. However, the 753-1646 KNX TP Secure Interface does not support router or transparent modes.In a KNX network, the module functions as a standard KNX device.The KNX module supports up to 1,000 freely configurable communication objects with any DPTs, 2,000 group addresses and 2,000 associations. In the ETS, data point types (DPT) up to 14 bytes long can be assigned to each KNX communication object.When operating as a KNX secure device, encrypted communication (KNX Data Secure) is possible for all KNX communication objects.The application is programmed via CODESYS 3.x. ETS 6 is supported.WAGO’s 753 Series Pluggable Connector with internally bridged contacts (3/7 and 4/8) is included with the delivery.An external KNX power supply is required to operate the KNX module.
