Cable assembly WINSTA® KNX E codingUse effective pluggable connections instead of laborious screw connections: With the WINSTA® KNX cable assembly E coding. WAGO pluggable installation connectors can be used when requirements repeat or are planned on a specific pattern, for example for installing grid lighting or flush-mount lighting. The color coding and mechanical coding of the pluggable installation connector ensure error-free installation of the individual components – including protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector offers protection against contact with live components in accordance with protection type IP20 (Only when mated and secured with a strain relief housing (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas.)). The standardised KNX interface represents a manufacturer-independent communication protocol for intelligently networking state-of-the-art home and building system technologies. A WINSTA® KNX pluggable installation connector with E coding, like all coded pluggable installation connectors, allows blind mating. E coding is often used for an auxiliary power supply, for example in I/O devices. Compliance with fire protection regulations is an essential issue for building installation. Especially in sensitive areas, the fire class must meet or even exceed legal requirements. This product complies with the requirements of fire class C. In the production of this cable assembly, halogens were deliberately omitted.
