Cable assembly WINSTA® RD with protection against mismatingThe WINSTA® RD cable assembly with protection against mismating supports fast, reliable installation. On PCBs, in control cabinets or for connecting lights – pluggable installation connectors from WAGO allow you to make connections according to many different requirements in next to no time. The mechanical coding and color coding of the pluggable installation connector ensure error-free installation of the individual components – including protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector is protected in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). That results in the fact that users’ fingers will never come into contact with live contact elements. The rated current and voltage are important criteria for selecting a pluggable installation connector: They tell us about the product’s domains of use. This product has a current rating of 20 A – as a result it is suitable for high power loads. The WINSTA® RD offers a round design that is perfect for use in conduits with an inner diameter of 20 mm, such as in the prefabricated house sector. Mandatory compliance with fire protection regulations is an essential issue for building installation. Especially in sensitive areas, the fire class must meet or even exceed legal requirements. This product complies with the requirements of fire class C. The cable assembly is free of halogen. This eliminates the addition of environmental pollutants during production.
