Cable assembly WINSTA® MIDI with protection against mismatingThe WINSTA® MIDI cable assembly 3-pole provides the foundation for installation of solid and fine-stranded conductors. WAGO pluggable installation connectors are useful when specifications repeat or are distributed on a specified pattern, for example for installing grid lighting or flush-mount lighting. For greater security in electrical installations, the pluggable installation connector is equipped with mechanical protection against mismating. The pluggable installation connector offers protection against contact with live components in accordance with protection type IP20 (When mated: IP2xC (These compact connectors are not designed for use in open, easily accessible areas!)). UPS applications for IT technology mostly use the red WINSTA® MIDI pluggable installation connectors with P coding. The rated current and voltage are important criteria for selecting a pluggable installation connector: They provide information about possible domains of use and applications. This product has a current rating of 20 A – therefore it is suitable for powerful loads. The WINSTA® MIDI Pluggable Connection System with Push-in CAGE CLAMP® spring pressure connection technology facilitates exemplary electrification. Due to the integrated test slot, connections can be checked even when they are plugged in. That saves time and reduces installation labor and costs. This product meets all the relevant fire protection requirements of fire class E; thus it can be used in domains where fire safety is relevant. Not using halogen additives in the manufacture of this cable assembly noticeably increases fire safety and reduces environmental pollution.Fast, secure pluggable connections – cable assemblies from WAGOA socket and a free end are provided. The WINSTA® Pluggable Connection System is ideally tailored to the strict requirements of building installation. It makes electrical installation pluggable, and therefore faster, more reliable, and error-free.
