Description

This fieldbus coupler connects the WAGO I/O System to PROFINET IO, the open Industrial ETHERNET automation standard.The fieldbus coupler detects all connected I/O modules and creates a local process image. This process image may include a mixed arrangement of analog (word-by-word data transfer) and digital (bit-by-bit data transfer) modules.The fieldbus coupler is integrated into the application as a PROFINET IO device.The coupler features an integrated 2-port switch, allowing easy line structure creation without additional network components.The device name can be assigned via DCP protocol or a default name can be set via DIP switch.
